The experience of chronic pain is real

Chronic pain interferes with every aspect of a person’s life, affecting sleep quality and mood, as well as activities of daily living such as cooking, moving, caring for loved ones, working and even having fun!

Chronic pain is a public health issue affecting one in five adults in Canada. That’s more than the number of people living with cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and Alzheimer’s disease combined.
If you’re experiencing chronic pain, you’re definitely not alone! Know that there are practices and strategies that can help you deal with the presence of persistent pain.
