With a Master’s degree in Social Work, my intervention practices include strength-based approaches, neuroscience education, and for those who are interested, mindfulness-based practices. My aim is to help people better understand their bodies, to share information on different pain management tools and to accompany people in the exploration of strategies to improve their quality of life. By combining my clinical knowledge with a caring approach, I offer personalized care according to each person’s context, beliefs and preferences. My intervention techniques are based on self-compassion and value the benefits of movement, moments of simple pleasure and connection with nature. My professional practice is based on inclusive and anti-oppressive values, taking into account the effects of racism, sexism, homophobia and transphobia, and recognizing power inequalities in access to care and health services.
Trained by the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy and a member of the Association québécoise de guides de Shinrin Yoku, I am also the founder of Equinox Forest Therapy. This role also brings me to guide “forest bathing”, “Shinrin Yoku” or Nature and Forest Therapy Walks in natural settings.
Anyone who may believe that my professional practice contravenes the law or regulations governing my profession may raise concerns by reporting them to the professional order governing my practice.
